Vermont

Vermont, known as the “Green Mountain State” for its scenic rolling mountains, quality skiing, organic locally produced food, colorful history and its open-minded culture.

Home to more than 100 19th-century covered wooden bridges and a major producer of maple syrup, Vermont offers thousands of acres of mountain terrain crossed by hiking trails and skiing slopes.

Vermont is famous for the independent and freedom-seeking character of its residents, originating with the original patriots called the ‘Green Mountain Boys’ led by statesman Ethan Allen, often reviled and well-loved facet of New England history.

Millions of people visit Vermont each year, drawn by the beauty of the Green Mountains, the narrow valleys, marvelous rivers, autumn leaves and scenic byways.

Many of those visitors have chosen to maintain second homes in Vermont and even more have made Vermont their home. So, come join us!
